Lincoln's most skillfull and yet most frustrating midfielder returns today. No doubt the boo boys will be in good voice. Personally I thought he gave good service to the club and on his day could be sublime. At other times he just did not seem bothered and appeared lazy. Have to hope that he is hardly noticed today.

I agree. I won't be booing him, though. I used to like him a lot and will never forget his goal at Carlisle the day we beat them 2-0 (Bailey's goal from inside our half was just the icing on the cake!)

Sounds as if Gainy has had a reasonable game. Certainly he has been mentioned more than any of our midfield.

No question! We missed one player and we were crap. I think that shows that we still do not have the back up required to mount a serious challenge. We have loads of forwards who do not look like they can score. We lack decent back up in midfield and defence. All my opinion of course, but with just two players missing today Oakes and Sinclair we did not have enough quality to replace them.

Me too - I've been saying for weeks that at 20 players (with one fringe player out on loan, making it 19), our squad is too small for a serious challenge.

nope nothing has lol well i suppose one has to give them time . dont 4get though this is now jacksons team . so ill give it 6-7 games to gel .

I like Gain - I thought he played well today I wanted him to come back last season - I think he would be a shoe in our midfield four.

Rose tinted brigade? I never buy that one, because surely we are all biased and lean towards are team - it's a natural instinct. Turn it around and we had won the first three games, we wouldn't have had a problem. The first eleven we have put out so far is good enough individually to mount a challenge, for some reason we haven't clicked into place as yet. People will always defend the football club though, what do you want everyone to agree and get on the teams/clubs back? Football is a very fickle game and always has been, but often realism is taken out of the equation.

Well said Jimmy... Im sooo biased towards City & have got in many an argument with my brother (a liverpool fan)... I will defend Lincoln alway & am very very proud to be an Imp.. We all moan about not winning but we all know we'll always end up at Sincil Bank willing the team on...
