Smarties Wine Bar In Woodhall Spa as well as collecting for the bike ride are having cycling shirts made for three of us in city colours.
If you are ever in this neck of the woods drop in,he's a big Manure fan and the place is like a shrine to them but is giving great support for our ride.

I often pop in there as the OH is from Stixwould. It's a nice place :) I shall have to pop in next time I'm in the area.

I was considering writing the same thing myself. Only place I consider going for a drink in Woodhall. I've been to the Mall a few times but it's a bit unkempt and the beer is poor. Everywhere else in Woodhall is an overpriced hotel.

TBH I drink mainly in Horncastle, plenty of pubs with good beer!

Indeed. I've spent many an evening frequenting the various pubs of Horncastle. I went to school there, so know the place very well.

Use both but don't consider myself a beer buff although the local Bateman's drinkers soon let any landlord know if the product isn't up to scratch.
For me the extra cold stuff seems to hide the taste the colder it is.

They have a great chef in The Mall at present,Polish chap and to be honest the venue doesn't do his food justice.

I haven't eaten there for a while because the food did go down hill a bit ago. I think at that time most of the food was microwaved or deep fried from frozen.
Will consider it again though on your recomendation
