This is the last position for which to make a nomination. Following this, all names that have been mentioned for each and every position will be put into a poll to find the 'Best Ever Imps Team' according to those who post on this site.
There can only be one Imps 'Supersub' and that is...
Simon Yeo. _________________ We've got a new manager. Will he be a very good manager? I do hope so. |

So, lets get this right, we're playing 4-4-3 and we have a substitute too?
My XI was, I think.
Felgate, Branfoot, Neale, Peake, Cooper, Ainsworth, Booth, Cockerill, Harding, Harford, Hobson.
Logic would suggest an attacking sub so Simon Yeo would probably be the best choice but Phil Brown, Darren Huckerby and Percy would get a mention. |

Surely it should be five subs? _________________ "...one can't be angry when one looks at a penguin." John Ruskin - Aware of all Internet traditions. |

That is a fair point, but when I started watching I am sure we weren't allowed any although that soon changed to one, which stayed like that for many years. _________________ We've got a new manager. Will he be a very good manager? I do hope so. |

Derek Bell had a superb strike rate in the early 80's and spent a good part of that time on the bench. _________________ It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark, and we're wearing sunglasses.

Here's a useful overview of our subs history: click
Yeo's 28 sub appearances in the 2003/4 league season will take some beating. Mind you, Derek Asamoah made 85 (league) sub appearances for Northampton! |

I simply can't put Simon Yeo down for this. I hated the "super sub" tag as I felt he should start every game...
So, it's Ayden Duffy for me!! |
